Cerne Abbas Surgery has a ‘Friends of the Practice’, a group of volunteers who are involved in helping patients by visiting, sitting to relieve carers, family support and transport to appointments.
Transport is arranged in co-operation with the County Council’s Country Car Scheme. Patients are asked to make a contribution per mile towards their journey.
